Sister Dinah Might,
If You Ask Her Right

The Big Picture

I was a part of something wonderful, something that changed me forever; a vision of the Universe that tells us undeniably how tiny and insignificant and rare and precious we all are.

A vision that tells us we belong to something that is greater than ourselves.

That we are not, that none of us, are alone."

There are some 750 billion stars just in this region of space alone, which is equivalent to the size of a dime when viewed from 100 feet.  It is part of the constellation Virgo.

All of these stars are made of the same basic elements, as are all humans.

When you consider the size of the Universe and the fact that everything everywhere is made of the same basic elements, do you think that any Supreme Being that may exist and may have created all of This cares that you love someone of the same gender?  Or that you wear clothes designed for the "other" gender?

Does any such Supreme Being differentiate living beings into just two genders?  If so, why?

Is there any reason to feel guilty or ashamed because you're different?

We all have something in common:  We Are All Different.  Difference is reality.  Why feel bad?
